Our cottage at Middle Bass holds a very special place in the hearts of all members of the Nagelbush Family. Your website was really great to review . . . especially the photos of the storm! Our cpttage looks worse than we thought. Keep up the good work & keep us informed about what's going on with my favorite place in the whole world. Gratefully, Marsha(Nagelbush)Visage

Are there no churches on the Island. Our visit will include a Sunday, and I couldn't find a single church of any denomination on your site. Maybe they are there and I don't know how to find them. Could you list them in the yellow pages?

There is a page dedicated to the Church of Middle Bass on the site, and entries for the services are in the calendar on the site.

A link to this info has been added to the Yellow Pages.

We put the schedule for baseball games on Middle Bass into the calendar last year as soon as we got the schedule. We'll do the same this year.

Can someone send the schedule to webmaster@middlebass.org?

Great web site. It's nice to keep up on the island happenings. I vacationed on the island for many years as a teenager and young adult with my family. Then after being away for awhile, my sisters and I started coming back 6 years ago for our family vacation every year. I really enjoy the island. I voted on the state park poll but would like to add a comment that it would be nice to see the old house restored (possibly as a Bed and Breakfast). Nancy Fullen, Wellington, Ohio

Have been spending a week on the island each summer for as long as I can remember. Good fishing is a bonus, I just like to spend a week without traffic lights, telephones, TV, and computers. Great web site. I feel like I'm there already!

Greetings! I found your website to be quite nice and informative; however, I do believe you should add a link called "attractions." Perhaps a list of popular things to do on the island is on this site, but I was unable to find it. A link directly to this would be helpful.

WOW, What a Beautiful site? Informative too. I was there back in 1995 during spring break. I had fun at the Lonz Winery and at Ed's house. Oh yeah, very sorry about the collapse of the Winery. If you are reading this and you're from Middle Bass and you know Ed (real name is Lawrence Sheller, he hates to be called Lawrence). I really missed that guy. Tell him to write me at harbertt@comfsm.fm. We were in the ARMY together. My name is Harbert Tom. Just in case he forgot. Any ways it is a great site. Keep it up!!

I'm truly amazed at all the content on this website! What a great idea! I'm so glad that there is a die-hard islander out there that is willing to perform this service on behalf of all of us! Keep up the good work! Someone needs to bake you some cookies or SOMETHING! =-) I think that the site serves as a great informational spot as well as something fun to browse through. It's amazing how many things you just don't realize about this place even if you're here pretty often. THANK YOU WEBMASTER! Question: Do people just send you pictures of theirs to post on the site? We have some that could be nice I'm sure. ~Kathy Johnston Avon, OH kejohnst@kent.edu

It was my first time on the island last weekend (July 12th) and I really loved it. It's such a wonderful island. GREAT. I went to the St. Hazards Restaurant on Friday night. I met this really cute guy, his name is Brian and he stayed at the condo villa #4. He lives in Michigan and works for his boss who owns the villa at St. Hazard. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to ask him for his address or email. :o( I thought I'd see him again on the next day, but that wasn't the case. So Brian, in case you read this, please send me an email. I hope you still remember me though. I am Judy (Judith) the girl from Germany and Dan (my friend) and his daugther Laura were there also. Remember?? Dan first talked to you...and your friend Rocko and Kevin. Rememeber? It's sad that I didn't get the chance to see you again, even though I wanted it sooooo bad. You're a really cute guy. My email is: Judith_enjoylife@hotmail.com or Judith_enjoylife@web.de

We came across the st. Hazard's website while looking for a place to stay that would be different from the normal motels around the lake. We stayed there in August, and really enjoyed it. We look forward to doing it again sometime. Was very sorry to hear of the fire at J.F. Walleye's. Gloria - Crestline, OH
