Adult Beginner's Quilting Class

taught by Mary Roesch

Students will construct a hand-pieced, hand- appliquéd, hand-quilted wall hanging depicting an island house. To register, contact Mary by telephone at 419-285-2221 or by e-mail at roesch@middlebass.org. The class will be limited to 14 students, on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will receive a supply list after you register. To see a sample of the project, visit “My Aunt Irma's” store on Middle Bass.

Mary has been quilting for 15 years and has taught quilting classes in adult education at Avon Lake and Westlake high schools. She is actively involved with the Textile Art Alliance of the Cleveland Museum of Art and has served on its board for the past six years. Her main focus is contemporary design and clothing embellishment.

The class schedule will be posted as soon as it becomes available. There is a tentative plan is to hold the classes on the two weekends of the Arts Festival, possibly including the Thursdays and Fridays before them.
